Hi gurus,
I just installed WMB toolkit V 6.0 only (no broker or config manager) on a Windows workstation and wanted to apply the fixpack, however if I go to the software updater and try to select a feature to update I get an error that says, "---- Current configuration problems -----". And I cannot continue.
I am not sure how to determine what the configuration problems are. The toolkit seems to open fine and the only other issue is that when I went to the help Contents I got 'The page cannot be found'. Any ideas or suggestions would be helpful. I did not see any specific instructions in the installation guide about appying fixes so if there is another document that may help please let me know.
Thanks,
Greg |

You don't use the Eclipse updater.
Run "Rational Product Updater". _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Use RUP (Rational Updater) instead. _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

Thanks for the help. I did try to run the RUP and still having problems.
Since I am updating from a local file set the preferences as needed, but when I click on find updated, I get the following error:
Error parsing at line 5 of update manifest of file:/C.......com.ibm.websphere.messagebrokers.ltoolkit.update_6.0.0.1.jar
This occurred even after unzipping the fixpack a second time, which I tried based on another post to this site.
I have version 6.0.0.4 of the Updater and 6.0.0 of the Toolkit.
Any other ideas or suggestions? Should I reinstall the toolkit?
Thanks,
Greg |

I downloaded the fix to the updater to get to version 6.0.1 and that seems to have fixed the problem.
Thanks |
