Hi,
I have a small issue which i think is related to the Block and process code replacement.
We have an order(Order1) that came long back (lets say date as Jan 5) This order should process a process called 'Process1'. If we have block1 and block2 inside this process in the same order, first block1 and then block2) and we redeployed the code for process1 (with block2 changed to block3) ,lets say on Apr5.
Before deployment on Apr5, our block1 is in runnning state. AFter April 5, it came to block2 (which is now block3).
My questions are
1. Will the block 2 be still available in the WF runtime?
2. If so, Will my order face any problem as far as starting the block is concerned? |

I am almost sure
1. Yes
2. No
If it is a sub process then it is different story |

Did you have any process instances in running mode when you deployed your new FDL?. That may be the reason. I dont exactly know how work flow behaves in this scenario. Jmac can help you!!! |

IF you import and translate a Template "A" on April 5.
All instances that started prior to April 5 will use the template as it existed when they were created. Post April 5 they will use the new templated.
The only way you could have a pre April 5 instance pick up the post April 5 Teplate A, is if it is called from a Process Activity. _________________ John McDonald
