Is there a command to list the number of queue managers created or running on a box? I know I can look mqs.ini or under the qmgrs directory tree, but I would rather issue a command that lists the queue managers created or running on the box. Similar to mqsilist for brokers. Thanks for the help in advance.

It sound like what you want is "dspmq" - available with MQ 5.2.

I solved the problem by just writing a little perl script that counted the number of directories in the /var/mqm/qmgrs directory.
