Fix pack 2 was released July 31. You can apply it using the Rational Updater or go to a ftp site and down load a zip file for the update. There is a seperate FP for EB and one for MB. These are around 300meg. There are also FP2s for both that include FP1 - these are over a gig in size.

The install of FP2 (using the downloaded zip) went in without a problem).

There are some new usability features. For example, when creating a New artifact, if you click on the whitspace - the pop-up only shows the two types of projects (Msg Flow and msg set). Then, one one is created, the additional options are shown on the New option. There is also a Quick Start where you can build the msg Flow project, the msg flow and an associated msg Set with one request.

The Mapping node function added in FP1 called map from Source is renamed to may By name and has additional options regarding "name matching" and can map similar names. That is very nice.

So, the location for the zip files is:

ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/software/mqseries/fixes/wbimbv60-zips/

if you already have FP1 installed - get EB601_6002.zip OR MB6001_6002.zip (302meg and 337meg)

Also requires Rational Product Updater 6.0.1 (if you've not already done that update).

The online Help also has a section that describes the new Mapping node enhancements, so take some time and read that.

Let the fun begin.

I think there are separate FixPacks for Toolkit and Runtime.

Toolkit FP is available through RUP. Runtime is not.

No, we are talking about Fix Pack 2 for WMB V6 - which makes the version number 6.0.0.2

Also released on Monday was Fix pack 2 for the Broker runtime. As of yesterday, the support webpage had not been updated - but if you follow the links, you'll get to the downloadable code.

Thanks for the help. I did try to run the RUP and still having problems.
Since I am updating from a local file set the preferences as needed, but when I click on find updated, I get the following error:

Error parsing at line 5 of update manifest of file:/C.......com.ibm.websphere.messagebrokers.ltoolkit.update_6.0.0.1.jar

Any other ideas or suggestions? Should I reinstall the toolkit?
Thanks,
Greg

Greg - questions
1. did you update RUP to 6.0.1 first?
2. Is the is the first time that updates have been applied?
3. Where did you get the updates - did you download a zip file form ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/software/mqseries/fixes/wbimbv60-zips/

I used the zip file approach and did not have any problems.

A flash for 6.0.0.2 is now available at: http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=849&context=SSKM8N&context=SS3GH2&context=SSKMAB&dc=D600&uid=swg21243162&loc=en_US&cs=UTF-8&lang=en
