We are trying to do a WMQ Healthcheck to identify areas where enhancements can be made and resolve various messaging infrastructure issues.
I would use the plug-in but it is only available for v6.0 and not v5.3.
This is our first time taking on this task and we were wondering if there are any resources available that can give us guidance in identifying what type of information should be gathtered for analysis to make a detemination on WMQ health? Is it a matter of just collecting object definitions and atrributes or resource allocation or application usage, etc?
We are starting from 'scratch' so any direction would be greatly appreciated.

Lotusphilo,
I am not sure what you are looking for.... I have a list of things that I look at daily and weekly to be sure that MQ is healthy. It is a manual process. Is this what you want?
That sounds like it might help. I have a general idea of what I should be looking for but I just wanted to get some feedback other admins are doing. That list sounds great.
