So (aside from my previous comments) which queue manager was throwing the AMQ7469? If it was the sending queue manager (which hosts the transmission queue) why didn't you increase log size for that?
I also have doubts about looking directly into the queue files for messages. They're not cleaned up enough to give an accurate indication of what's where. If the admin tool is not showing it then MQ thinks it's not still in there. Have you looked in the DLQ for your messages?

Yes, nothing was showing in the dead letter queue. After deleting the queues and recreating them, we were still having problems, finally we got to a point (I don't know how, much of this has to go to a third party) where the errors it was throwing were that the message id's were out of sync. Once those were set the same things started working fine. (Also my big messages are going through which is REALLY exciting...).

| I will be doing some testing to see what the effects of sending these files through MQ Series (I don't expect my files to ever really be that large, but there is a possibility with poorly designed reports which are auto generated). I will try and post any results (if interesting) back to the forum. |
