Hi
i am facing a problem. i have a message tree and i have requirement of converting only a part of the whole message tree into blob.
is this type of conversion possible? if yes then how ?

Possible - Yes, it is possible through ESQL.

How - try to read the ESQL manual...make some effort.

If you want to convert an XML message it should be straightforward to use ASBITSTREAM.

If the xml message has namespaces ( XMLNS domain) you need to take care of a few things when converting part of the message into BLOB otherwise you lose namespaces.
