I am new to this integation with mainframe CICS and MQ.
We are using ICS and MQ connector to pass fixed width data to MQ.
While this data must be passed to CICS services from MQ. Also response from CICS is expected back in ICS collaboration.
Please let me know how a MQ Queue invoke a CICS.

There are many options.
You can have a MQ aware CICS transaction that listens on a queue and directly reads the message.
You can trigger a CICS transaction using CKTI and that passes data in the commarea.
The right approach will depend on the size of the message, the frequency of arrival, the time-sensitive or not nature, whether a reply is expected, whether an existing CICS transaction is to be used unmodified or a new one written - and so on.

Thank you very much for the useful info.
I am wondering to know about CTKI. Is it a MQ series configuration to trigger CICS?
Can CTKI reasd the response wriiten by CICS in commarea to queue?
Can you please let me know more details about CTKI.
