This question is most likely intended for those who had stumbled across this error before as there is no actual log of any event .
This is the log which i am getting . THE CONNECTOR AGENT hangs while publishing messages to the queue .
Now i am not sure if i checked all the logs so if someone can help me with this : how do i check the
S0000000.LOG
file as it is in binary form .

If you are talking about MQ error logs, then you should be looking at
on Unix, the directory is
/var/mqm/qmgrs/<QMGRNAME>/errors
Substitute your QMGR name.
On Windows, look at the event viewer. |

Set AgentTraceLevel to 5 and restart the connector. You will get more information about any possible error.

What are you using the connector for? Are you polling from an Event Table? Then you need to specify all the required parameters for polling in the configuration file. If you are using the connector only in Request Processing mode, then set EventTableName to 'null' in the configuration file.

Solved it ... The Queue Manager ( wics1pro.queue.manager ) had a number of messages in its queue.
Another questions which i was unable find an answer for :
How can view the contents of the file : /var/mqm/log/wics1pro!queue!manager/active/S000000.log ( which is in binary form ) . That is if it holds any usefull information . |

That log file is the internal log used by the queue manager for persistent messages etc. There's nothing in there human readable or human useful IMHO.
Also messing with the active log while the queue manager's running can make it cross. I advise against it
