Hi all,
We have written an IMS transaction that read a message from a Queue and write a response to another Queue. All works fine.
Now, I would like to setup a trigger on the message arrival. The problem is I'm not an expert with IMS but I'm used to work with distributed plateform.
I've some questions :
Is the trigger monitor CSQQTRMN works a distributed environment ?
Is there a documentation somewhere explaining how to configure the Queue manager (Queues, processes)?
Thanks for your help. _________________ Eric Galichet

CSQQTRMN is for IMS, it is not for distributed environment. anyway, triggering is the same on all plattforms, you need a trigger monitor, a process, initiation queue, .....)
how to set up triggering for IMS is described in the System Setup Guide (for z/OS) "Setting up the IMS Trigger Monitor" _________________ Regards, Butcher |
