I am trying to populate MQRFH2 headers for the output message in the mapping node. I hard coded them, but still the MQRFH2 header does not appear in the ouput.

I first hard coded the Format field of MQMD as 'MQHRF2'. And even the format field of MQMD doesnot get populated in the output. But when I put 'MQSTR' in the format, then I have MQMD coming out.

What ever ... I cannot make MQRFH2 headers get populated...

--FYI, when I created the map, I selected the option where it says, I want to create body and headers too.

Thanks,
Superstar.

Read the manual about pub sub.

There are constant names for the format. The format you set is not right.
When adding the MQRFH header:
  1. add the header right after the MQMD
  2. insert into the format, ccsid, and encoding fields the corresponding values from MQMD
  3. insert into MQMD format ccsid and encoding the values for the MQRFH header

Enjoy

Again: Read the manual and the examples in the help about pub/sub.
You will find the litterals to use.
I believe the right format would be 'MQRFH '
Enjoy

The Format in MQMD should be 'MQHRF2 ' if an RFH2 header follows the MQMD header.

pls see the MQ manuals for other details.

thnx.
