People

I am having problems when using XSLT Stylesheets to process messages within the MQ Broker Version 5.3. As well as the stylesheets transposition nodes there are a number of nodes involved to validate and format the data.

The input is CWF, this is then tranposed to XML for input into the Stylesheet processing node, the XML version header and namespace constants are added and the the outgoing message is transformed using a version 1 stylesheet. The output of this transposition is then again transformed using a different stylesheet, this latter function is then repeated. That is to say that the message after conversion to XML is processed by 3 stylesheets to give a final result.

This procedure works well when individual messages, or small clumps, are used however when we try to set it up with 1000 messages, each the same, then a memory error occurs. This does not necessarily occur at the same point each test but usually within a small margin of the same, say the 17th message one time and the 19th the next.

The same problem appears regardless of whether the broker runs on the Windows or Sun / Unix boxes.

The errors shown in the log are:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Error 1:
( BQTQ606K.odm_fpi_u ) Message broker internal error:
diagnostic information 'As a result of a Severe Abend Error, a MiniDump has been written to: d:/sysappl/WBIMB/errors/BQTQ606K.odm_fpi_u.5820.3284.dmp'.

An internal software error has occurred in the message broker. Further messages will indicate the effect of this error on the broker's transactions.
The diagnostic information associated with this message is: 'As a result of a Severe Abend Error, a MiniDump has been written to: d:/sysappl/WBIMB/errors/BQTQ606K.odm_fpi_u.5820.3284.dmp'.

Shutdown and restart the message broker.
If the problem continues to occur, then restart the system. If the problem still continues to occur contact your IBM support center.

Error 2:
( BQTQ606K.odm_fpi_u ) Broker process terminating abnormally: The following diagnostic information will be required when contacting IBM: '
Severe Abend Error detected.
For full details see Abend File: d:/sysappl/WBIMB/errors/BQTQ606K.odm_fpi_u.5820.3284.Abend
A summary of the Error follows:

The errors appear to be reported in pairs.
