Hi,
Im new to Mb 6 & am trying to migrate a flow from MB 5x to 6x but facing issues while imprting an user-defined node into the MB 6 toolkit.
This is what I have done till now:
1. I have placed the plugin folders & the jar files in evtoolkit\eclipse\plugins folder
2. Imported the plugin using the Import External Plug-ins & Fragments option
Even though I dont get any error after importing the plu-gin, Im not able to see the nodes in the palette.
Is this the right way of doing it? Or do I need to place the jar files in some other location?
Any pointers to resolving this issue will be appreciated.
Thanks |

The location for the node folder is MessageBrokersToolkit\6.0\eclipse\plugins\
for the jar it is MQSI\6.0\jplugin

Thank you mqmatt & elvis_gn for your replies.
I had tried both the options before posting this in this forum. And it still doesnt seem to work.
There is also a reference in the classpath to a jar file, which I have placed in MQSI\6.0\classes. Let me know if this is the right folder to place the jar file. |

i doesnt matter where you put the jar files as long as you modify the broker to look at that location using mqsichangebroker <Broker_Name> -l C:\lil\path\location
i have been trying this but could not do it ..... i placed the jar files and teh node folders in the appropriate paths and also modified the broker -l option to pick up jar files from the specified location.
but looks like the broker is not picking up the jar files
we have also opened a pmr regarding this issue
u also might want to look at this
http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=977&uid=swg27007091#12
it has some known issues and temp fixes for the migration

Hi Madi,
Thanks a lot for the link.
I restarted the Toolkit using the -clean option from the command prompt & Im able to see the nodes in the pallete now.
Thts strange bcos I did make use of Project->Clean to clean the User-defined project.
Does anyone knw the difference between restarting the toolkit using -clean from cmd & restarting the toolkit and then use the Clean option?
Thanks once again for all the replies. |

If you restart the toolkit using the command line and -clean option, it'll start the toolkit and search for all plug ins available for use. |
