Hi,
We are using ITM 6.1 with Omegamon for BI 3.7 agents.
I was hoping someone could answer this 'simple' question.
If I start a monitoring agent but give it the incorrect name i registers an agent with the wrong name. How do I remove this from the portal view. I keep seeing offline agents for queue managers that dont exist and ant to remove them.

The agent has been stopped and all config data removed fromt he system where the agent resides.
When looking at the managed system list on the physical view in the portal is shows up as an offline agent. _________________ Keith Guttridge

Obviously all config has not been removed if it still shows up as an offline agent... _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

Let me be a little bit more precise:
You may have removed all config on the qmgr server but you have not removed the config on the dashboard concerning the defunct qmgr.
As such tivoli as a good boy tells you the agent for the defunct qmgr is not running.
You need to check your Tivoli config as well and remove references to the defunct qmgr.

You should be able to "right-click" on the shadowed/inactive agent and choose "Remove inactive Agent" or something like that, this will remove the greyed entry from the TEP.
