Hello there...

First I'm not an IMS expert so that's why I ask you some informations

We don't want OTMA

I have an application which needs to question an IMS Transaction ( pseudo real time )... Messages comes from an EAI under AIX BOX .

The Queue is named QUEUE_ONE ( just an example ). The Transaction will answer through a COBOL PUT API in a remote Queue named QUEUE_TWO.

Question 1 : What do I need and what is the exact process to start a BMP per Message ... this BMP should put a message in IMS Queue for the transaction to start ( If I understand Exactly ).

Question 2 : What do I need in the MQ Header ?

Thanks a lot ...

1 you have to set up a IMS trigger monitor do do triggering (check system setup guide - setting up the IMS adapter)

2 nothing IMS specific if you do not use OTMA
