Position Title MQ Series Administrator

City Position is Located Midtown, New York
Education Bachelors Degree

Position Responsibilities:

1. Monitoring and Problem resolution for the middleware integration environment.
2. Installation, Configuration and deployment of Webshere MQ and MQ Software Products.
3. Install and configure MQ Series queue managers, queues, channels, clients on NT and UNIX platforms.
4. Will support medium MQ Series environment ( 20 + servers) and numerous clients.
5. Provide technical support on CFT and FTP for Banking Applications.

Position Requirements:

1. Strong Knowledge and experience with MQ processes, triggers, channels and clustering, MQ Series Application programming.
2. Working knowledge of Microsoft O/S(NT , 2000, XP) , AIX, SUN Solaris , AS400.VMS a plus.
3. Working knowledge of Banking Apps such as Money Transfer , Swift Managing Systems , Trading Apps etc.
4. Exposure to management tools such as Candle, Tivoli, QPASA! , BMC with Candle command Center. QPASA! expereince a definite plus.
5. Experience with building utilities to manage and maintain middleware integration enviornments.
6. 5 solid years of MQ Series Admin Experience.
7. 6yrs of UNIX (AIX, SUN Solaris, HP UX) & NT.
8. 6yrs of Banking Industry Experience.
9. Bachelor's degree in Information Systems.
10. Knowledge of Databases (Oracle, MS SQL, Sybase SQL) a + Certification.
11. Will be required to work on an on-call rotation.Weekend and night work should be anticipated.
