Strange MQ problem

We are sending the MQ message with the MQRFH2 mcd.type header set to a string. The receiving program is in JMS. When they get the message, they are not receiving the getJMSType value. Ideally the MQRFH2 mcd.type should map to the getJMSType value and the receiving program should be able to get it.

Any ideas on this would be greatly appreciated.

Why do you think this is an MQ problem?

Maybe it's a problem with the JMS specification. Maybe it's a problem with your code.

Maybe it's clearly documented behavior at http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/wmqv6/v6r0/index.jsp?topic=/com.ibm.mq.csqzaw.doc/csqzaw1481.htm

Maybe it's an already fixed problem in a later FP level of the MQ JMS implementation than the one you are using.
