Has anyone tried this combination yet? I don't see anything saying it would be a problem, just wondering if anyone has been bitten by it.

I've found the opposite runs better. (6.0 RP1) classes for a 5.3 server.

Of course make sure the server is not on one of the bad JMS CSDs if you are using JMS.

v5.3 client with v6.0 server is supported. But for new development, it's good to use the latest available versions of things.

Hi Mate
Just noticed the comment on bad CSD's

I know 7 and 8 had woeful problems,

is there any in particular problems with 12?

FP12 (CSD12) is certainly one of the most stable releases.

FP - Fixpack is the newest IBM terminology and a bit more uptodate than CSD - Correct Service on Diskette !!
