I am updating my WMB Toolkit from V6.0.0 to V6.0.0.1 .
My IBM Rational Product Updater is on Version 6.0.1.
I gave the path of the policy.xml file (Preferences-->update sites) and the Toolkit update of V6.0.0.1 is visible.
BUT, by the time the installation is about to complete, i am getting the following error :
"Error opening update manifest stream for feature: Feature: "file:D:/FIX PACKS/MB60_6001_2/rad/60/update/features/com.ibm.websphere.messagebrokers.toolkit.update_6.0.0.1.jar" Version: "com.ibm.websphere.messagebrokers.toolkit.update_6.0.0.1". [IBM WebSphere Message Brokers Toolkit 6.0.0.1]"
Can anyone help me out.

Hi,
Its basically u r RPU(Rational Product Updater) problem.To update u r MessageBroker Tool kit to 6.0.0.1 ,u r RPU should be in Version 6.0.1.So make sure that u r RPU's version as 6.0.1 .If u r RPU is latest 1,then first do degrade the RPU and then try to update u r tool kit.

I am getting the below error now.

Though my RPU is upgraded,i am not able to find out why this error is coming. |

I have installed WID 6.0.1 and then MB with toolkit 6.0.0.1.
Both are installed in the same directory
Now I am trying to update using RPU 6.0.1
It showed the following fixes
WID FixPack 6.0.1.2
Toolkit 6.0.02
While installing the fixes it failed with these errors
Unable to create file "/C:/Program Files/IBM/WebSphere/WID/updater/workspace/proxies/eclipse/features/updater.rwd_shared.plugins.6011.ifix001_1.0.0/update.properties". [C:\DOCUME~1\xyz\LOCALS~1\Temp\eclipse\.update\1156273656652\1156273656906\eclipse5761.tmp (The system cannot find the file specified)]

Has anyone come across these errors
Any ideas ?
