I am currently using the 90day trial version of MQ for testing. I now have a full licensed version (2 licenses because of my 2 CPUS) and need to replace the trial version.

Is there an easy way to go about this or should I just install on top of the trial, remove the trial and start over, or something else?

I was planning on saving my Qmgr info, removing the trial, then installing the licensed version. Once the licensed version is installed I can restored the Qmgr. Howver, I am not exactly sure what to do on the licensed version to get it registered as this is my first time.

Any help would be great!

saving the qmgr info is not a bad idea (use ms03 to save the objects, use amqoamd -s to save the security info).

try and install on top of the trail, if that doesn't work de-install the trial it should leave the qmgr on your system as is.

if all fails you still have your objects and security info to restore
