I have MQ 3.5 on a Windows 2003 server. Since fmcsmain does not start automatically, we used Windows Task Scheduler to start it at system start up. That worked fine until the other day and then stopped. This is a machine that we are getting ready to put into production so it is getting started and stopped alot.
Now, fmcsmain will only start if I run it from a command line. But even then not every time. That's my big concern. Inconsistent. If I could count on it starting every time from the command line, I could work with that because we will seldom start the machine and operators could get it started when we do.
Also, if I leave the machine alone overnight, nothing happening on it, when I get in the next morning, fmcsmain is started.
Any ideas on what might be causing fmcsmain to act this way? |

You better post this in workflow forum next time.
You have to change the settings in buildtime to start the scheduling server and then import the FDL into runtime. |
