I would like to get the statistics messages moved from AIX up to the mainframe ( z/OS ) so that I can keep them in my MXG database.
I have turned on Statistics Monitoring on my AIX queue manager, and now I am getting messages written to the SYSTEM.ADMIN.STATISTICS.QUEUE at regular intervals.
I would like to install a CRON task to copy these messages from this queue to another queue, which would be a remote queue, pointing to a mainframe queue manager. From there I would run a job to get them copied to tape. However, I have not found a utility to do the copy on AIX ( it would need to issue MQGET/MQPUT to move the messages to the remote queue ). Is there a utility that would do this ?
Also, is there a better way of collecting and managing the statistics ?
Thanks. |
