Hi,

When connecting to WF server on a remote machine,
we are sometimes getting the following error:

FMC Error Code = 13
com.ibm.workflow.api.FmcException:
FMC38009E MQSeries Workflow API Error :
API Return Code : 13
Error Origin : /projects/fmc/drv2/lbld/v350/aix/src/fmcjcesv.cxx, line 3705
Error Message : FMC00013E Communication error - Failing Action: get, Reason Code: 2009, Failing Object: FMC.CLIENT.EXC.
Nested Exception : None
at com.ibm.workflow.api.loc.ExecutionServiceImpl.queryWorkItems(ExecutionServiceImpl.java(Compiled Code))

Can some one help in solving this problem...

Actually we have two client machines from where we connect to the WF server on a remote machine. One of the machines doesnt give any problem. Configuration wise both the machines are exactly same.

OS - AIX
WF - 3.5
MQ - 5.3.7

Thanx in Advance

I don't think you have enough channels available to use.
If you do dis chs(*) on the workflow QMGR, I guess you will get lot of channels which are not properly closed.

Vennela,

How do we close these channels, is there an API for this? How can i make sure that these get closed in my program?

I am not sure I understand exactly... but unless you are using the MQWF C api, there is nothing explicit you need to do in dealing with MQ Series (It all happens under the covers).

TCP KeepAlive on the workflow QMGR should be set.
