Hi there ...
We have a problem with 3 messages which are put through a cluster Queue From OS400 to AIX MQ.
Message sequence have messageID ok. But the problem is, for example :
MessageId5
MessageID3
MessageID4
When we get message on AIX Queue ( Local Queue Cluster(INTR) ).
There is nothing else than create a standard queue and standards Cluster Sender & Receiver channel. No special options ...
Any clue.
Thx, |

You have not given enough information to answer your question. Are all these messages coming from the same application? Is the destination queue set up as FIFO or Priority and are you setting a priority (if so, why?). Also, do the numbers you have mentioned indicate that these are parts of a segmented message, or are they separate messages? _________________ IBM Certified MQSeries Specialist

The conditions necessary to maintain msg ordering are listed in the APR, in the notes secition of MQPUT (or MQGET).
f you require strict msg ordering, you should put msgs in a group, then the msgs will be delivered to the getting app in group order. _________________ MQSeries.net helps those who help themselves.. |

Message affinity should be avoided in MQ application design. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
