Found this which might help (refers to sample code)

http://www.mqseries.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=29183&highlight=net

If you've got more specific queries, use the forum search facility (top of the page). I think every question on all aspects of MQ has been asked in here at one time or another!

My tip - if you don't know how to do something, hit the books and experiement. I find learning is doing (especially when support is thin on the ground)!

To answer your library question, I understand that the .NET wrapper requires a full MQ client install under it.

Have fun!

The .NET API is documented in the MQ Information Center.
http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/wmqv6/v6r0/index.jsp

The Client is a free download, and available as a Support Pack
http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=171&uid=swg27007197

You will need an MQ Server somewhere, that the Client can connect to.

The MQ Server is not free.

Okay, well, starting at the beginning you must have a server install and a queue manager (or your attempts to use MQ will be severly hampered!). The client libraries are delivered with the server so you can find them there, or for testing purposes link with the server libraries and run your code server side until you locate the client.

You've already found the .NET manual, there's 2 other on the API calls (known as the MQI to those of us who inflate our rates by showing off). Go through those and they'll tell you everything you need to know.

Don't run before you can walk, but don't be afraid to experiment.
