Senior BPM (PEGA) Architect

The Senior BPM Architect provides technical leadership and is responsible for the overall technical quality of one or more areas of the software, including designing the architecture, frameworks and core technologies that lay the foundation for those software areas.
While the position has general expertise in enterprise architecture (DB, middleware, UI, infrastructure), the Sr. BPM Architect has specific expertise in Business Process Management architecture solutions.
The Senior BPM Architect works with the Senior Management to define and drive architecture strategy as well as Project Management, Technical Leads and developers on each project, in a technical oversight role.
The Architect helps mentor resources and project leads in areas of technology, software functionality and architecture for the one or more software areas.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
• Responsible for architecture of BPM solutions and related software areas
• Responsible for the technical quality of solutions
• Definition of technology and architectural roadmap
• Definition and management of software architecture
• Review of software designs
• Review of software code
• Development of key architectural components and frameworks
• Management of major software technical issues
• Mentoring resources on technical and architectural concepts
• Supporting design and development activities as technical oversight
• Assist in definition and management of standards, guidelines and processes for technology and software development
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Communication with peers and management
• Positive contributor to team environments
• Support of production systems
• Individuals assigned to this position may perform other duties as assigned
Skills/Requirements:
• Pega Rules Process Commander required (Our licensed version is 4.2 SP2)
• 5+ years Java & J2EE application architecture experience preferred
• XML, Soap, UDDI, WSDL
• Heavy Websphere experience required
