Hello,

We installed WebSphereMQ v6 trial and have been writing and testing some applications that use MQI.
Our company considers buying the product but is not sure if we should by MQ or MQ Express.
What are the main pro and contra of buying WebSphereMQ vs Express

Regards,
Igor

Hi,

There is a limitation on message size too. WebSphereMQ Express can handle messages upto 4MB only.

Quote:
Up to 10 server-to-server queue manager channels and server-to-client channels can be active concurrently. No transactional clients may be connected to this server. Message sizes may be up to 4 MB.

but as far as I know this is NOT a product/code limitation, it's a usage limitation!
