Do I need to map a Global Container Node into my workflow model to allow it to be fed the necessary data? If so, how do I do this? I know I need to specify the data structure on the Global container tab of the process properties. Do I actually need to draw a Global container node somewhere on my process diagram with a data connector going into it? If I need to place this on my diagram, I may have a problem, because that button is grayed-out.

Thanks.

Yes, you do need to to have a container in your model. You can use as many as you need to keep things neat, they all point to the same object.

Where are you trying to drop the container in? The only reason I can think of that would cause the button to be disabled is when you're in a block process. You can not currently map to GCs from within nested processes, but I think that functionality will be available with the next service pack.

You should be aware that there are some known GC problems that were fixed in SP1, and if you are using GC you will need to install SP1 (This is not the cause of your buildtime problem though).
