I am receiving S0C1 errors when I start the channel initiator. I am migrating from 5.3.1 and the MSTR is fine but when I start the chin I received S0C1. I verified everything from the SMPE to the CSQXJST. The only thing that looks bad is the RMODE is at 24 and should be at ANY, would this cause a S0C1?

I'm not yet ON z/OS MQ 6.0 but with the 531 the CSQXJST module is:
Name Prompt Alias-of Size TTR AC AM RM
CSQXJST 0000F178 02D904 01 31 ANY
Regards

Yep...it sure could cause it. I assume that AMODE is also at 24?

How did it get to be RMODE(24)?

I do not know how the RMODE changed from the SMPE install. It was defined for AMODE 31 and RMODE ANY. After SMPE CSQXJST is at AMODE 31 and RMODE 24. This is strange
