From a client system, whether the MQ system admin command can be invoked to monitor or see the behaviour of Q Manager or Qs. Basically, can we run runmqsc command?

U can do this via the MO71 Support Pack. You will need MQ Client installed on the Windows client system. _________________ Peter Potkay

I'm quite certain you actually mean MO72, Peter. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

MO71 allows you to submit runmqsc commands. Even to z/OS QMs! _________________ Peter Potkay

I'm quite certain you actually mean "MQSC" commands, Peter.

MO72 also can do this for z/OS QMs. Also, it allows to define the number of columns and use filters (even for pre v6 QMGRs).
If you want to run MQSC commands from a USS command prompt, you can use MS16. |
