Hello,

We are presently executing Webshere Broker V2.1 on the AIX platform and have a project underway to upgrade to Webshere Broker V6 on the same. A question was raised about installing Webshere Broker V6 on zLinux as an alternative. I would like to know if anyone has done this type of platform migration and what kind of obstacles were encountered, and were they pleased with their decision to do so. Also, if no one has done this type of migration, but installed Webshere Broker on zLinux initially what are their feelings about executing on the zLinux platform.

Broker is extremly platform neutral as far as runtime goes. Unless you go out of your way with Java code or C custom nodes to be platform specific, your flows will run on any platform without noticing what platform they are running on.
