The most likely cause is that you ran out of filespace on the filesystem.
The second most likely cause is that someone deleted some log files that you actually still needed - because the space on the filesystem was getting too big.
Regardless, there should be an FDC or FFST file in /var/mqm/errors that will tell you more about why the unexpected error occured, and that can help you figure out how to fix the problem. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Look for FDCs in the error directory. If you can't work out the error youself from those, post the header portions here.

FDC's talk about the shared memory resources.Filesystems are not full.
There was no MQ mainatenece on the day of reboot and all were down the next day!
Opened a ticket with IBM not figuring out the root cause yet |

Could you post the FDC file here. Did you try clearing the shared resources. you can use amqiclen. |

The shared memory problem is fixed in CSD12. I have not encountered it since we went to CSD11 and we bounce the qmgr once a week (other reasons).
