Hi,
We have a cluster of Queue Managers A and B and another cluster of Queue Managers B and C (B participates in both clusters).
The client application connects A and sends messages to C via B (there is a local queue in C that is cluster shared in B and C and also there is an alias of this queue in B that is clustered shared in A and B).
The server application connects C, processes the message and sends the reply.
Is it possible and how should we configure the reply queue and/or theirs alias/remote definitions so that the server application to use ReplyToQueueManager field from the header?
Ideally, we want the client application to submit blank as ReplyToQueueManager and then MQ to set ReplyToQueueManager=B, not A as we have a communication between C and B, not between C and A.
Are there any Put Message Options or Open Queue Options that will force MQ to set as ReplyToQueueManager the name of the gate queue manager (B), not the queue manager that owns the reply queue (A)? |

No, there are no such options on the put.
But why not just make a qmgr alias in the BC cluster for qmgr A as qmgr B? _________________ -wayne |
