What happens actually is , it connect to the qmgr but only can not put message. the error flie says, invalid data format but it is the same app that was working before.

What else can I check?

thanks

Its hard to imagine that type of error would be caused by a firewall... is there an MQ error code that you can post? Also, is the application running on the same machine as before or is this a new machine that it is running on.

Even before, the application was running in different machine. The only different tis time is, the applicaion running different machine then before and there is firewall between them.

the interesting thing is it establishes the connection and when it tries to put the message, it can not do that. I suspect whether data is lost due to firewall and when the data arrives, it is not in valid format and qm can not accept it but I am nto sure.

i can put message using amsqputc from the same machine but I have not tried from the client machine.

app folks say app is working, I thing there is no problem in mq, but the whle app is not working. Any idea

I can not post message now, basically, it says, data received in invalid format.

thanks
