We wanted to look at Supportpac ia08, which has the LDAP plugin node. One of the prerequisites is the WMB 6 server needs to have "IBM Tivoli Directory Server 5.2 Client" installed. Does anybody know how do we get a copy of that? Is this available free of charge, or do we need the IBM Tivoli Directory Server? The documentation indicates it should also work with other LDAP servers, but we get a "MQSI\6.0\bin\LdapPlugIn.lil'' could not be loaded; operating system return code '126'" error. The author says we need the client on WMB 6 server.
Any help is much appreciated.

Presumably, since it's a .lil file, the C code is compiled to use the LDAP libraries that are in the ITDS client, and thus it's extremely unlikely that any other LDAP libraries will have the same C bindings.
So that would mean you need the client installed in order to get LDAP service from any LDAP provider.
I did a quick poke around IBM's site to see if I could find a download of the client, and didn't really find anything.
If you've already contacted the author, you might ask again to see what they recommend.
Or contact your IBM sales rep.

Hi all,
We just installed this support pack on a Windows 2003 server.
We are using WBI v6 and the link above got us the
IBM Tivoli Directory Server 6.2 Client.
We get the same problem as above
The message broker detected the loadable implementation file ''F:\IBM\MQSI\6.0\bin\LdapPlugIn.lil'' but this could not be loaded by the operating system. The operating system return code was '126'.
By using a dependency analyzer we found that the IA08 is looking for something called ldap.dll which is not to be found in the client installation directory.
The closest thing we found is a ldap_ph.dll.
My questions are:
1- Has anyone installed the IA08 with IBM Tivoli Directory Server 6.2 Client ? and how did you get around this issue?
2- Anyone knows where I can get a copy of IBM Tivoli Directory Server 5.2 Client ?
Any advice is appriciated.
