Hi,

I'm wondering if there is a command in Windows prompt or Unix that you can use to find out if MQ is deployed on a machine?

What I mean is, for example, to see if DB2 is deployed on a machine you use the command db2licm.

Thanks,
Christine

well i dont know much about DB2, but by deploy if you mean "whether Mq was installed or not".
mqver - to display which version of mq u r using
dspmqcap - to display license or pocessors purchased .

Just as an aside, "dspmqver" is preferred over mqver as "mqver" isn't officially documented.

I tried dspmqver on Win 2000 for Mq 5.3 CSD 9, but its not working. Where as mqver is working

Code:
Syntax
>>-dspmqver--+----------------+--+------------+--+-----+-------->
             '- -p Components-'  '- -f Fields-'  '- -b-'

>--+-----+-----------------------------------------------------><
   '- -v-
