Hi,
I have installed MQSeries 5.2 and i need to Configure it to work with VAJ3.5(VisualAge for JAVA). Also when i try to create a new Queue Manager, MQSeries gives me an Error when i run the following command:

E:\MQSeries\bin>CRTMQM -Q DMQSAMP

"AMQ7128: No license installed for this copy of MQSeries."

If i can get help on Creating Queue Manager and VAJ 3.5(Visual Age For Java) local Queue Setup, it would be of great help.

You have been warned. You have an "unsupported" version of MQ and cannot expect official help from IBM.

Having said that...do you have a license? or is this a trial version?

Quote:
AMQ7128 No license installed for this copy of WebSphere MQ.

Explanation: No Production, Beta, or Trial Period license has been installed for this copy of WebSphere MQ.
User Response: Use the SETMQPRD command to install the production license for this copy of WebSphere MQ or use the SETMQTRY command to install a Trial Period or Beta license which will allow this copy of WebSphere MQ to be used for a limited period.

Did you try the setmqprd command?

hi,
On running the setmqtry, it gives the following error:

Quote:
AMQ7155: License file 'E:\MQSeries\bin\AMQBCERT.LIC' not found or not valid. See the 'Quick Beginnings' book.
.

Kindly Help.

From the InfoCenter:
Quote:

AMQ7155
License file <insert_3> not found or not valid.
Severity:

20 : Error
Explanation:

The program requires that the file <insert_3> is present, available and is a valid license file.
Response:

Check that the installation steps described in the Quick Beginnings book have been followed, and if the problem persists contact your IBM service representative.

There is an "Messages" (error codes) manual in the InfoCenter that you should use to look up error messages. The InfoCenter is here: please bookmark it:
