Hi Guys,
I am Trying to Install WBIMB v 5.0 in my pc. When i click on the launch pad.exe and check the software prerequisites i see
IBM Websphere MQSeries (R),5.3.0.4 Incorrect level.
But the case is i have MQ 5.3 with csd 11 on my pc. Why do you think it shows different version of MQ. Should i uninstall and reinstall MQ |

Well, 5.3.0.11 is not the same as 5.3.0.4, right?
Other than suggesting you upgrade to FP12, you can ignore this warning if it will let you. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Jeff,
even after trying fixpack 12 it still shows as csd 4 only. Now i am trying taking off all fix packs and installing fix pack 12. lets see if that works. Or else i guess i can just ignore it |

Again, if it allows you to ignore this warning, you should ignore this warning.
It's a long standing bug in the WBIMB v5 installer.
Likewise if you get an errors about MDAC levels - verify for yourself that you are using a later version and then ignore the warning.
Also, even though I *know* your installer has been upgraded - the only thing you should do after you install WMBIMB v5 is apply the latest FP. Don't create the default configuration or anything else. Run the installer, and then run the FP installer.
And then work with the product. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
