Hi, I am working with WMB v5 and WMQ v5.3 on the WinXP platorm. When I tried to start the connection of a sample Configuration manager, it says "unable to connect to the configuration manager" and shows the error code : 2009. Also it says that it is unable to connect to the "specific" queue manager. I checked the error logs, it says that the channel ended abnormally.

Further I checked that the queue manager's listener(associated with the configuration manager) is running properly. I got it uninstalled and installed it several times but, nothing works.

Can you please help me out.

Apply the latest CSD for MQ5.3 (CSD12). CSDs08-11 had to be APAR'd because of problems with Java clients causing 2009 errors (amongst other problems).

These APARs should be included in CSD12.
