Hi Guys,

I am getting this error when i try to deploy my msg flow. I am working with Broker, Config Mgr and Toolkit V6 all on Windows 2003 & all on different m/c.

Quote:

BIP1510E: Deployment failed; a deployment is already in progress to broker BROKER

The Configuration Manager was asked to deploy to broker BROKER, but this could not be attempted because it has not yet received a response to a previous deployment request submitted to that broker. To ensure that the deployed configuration is consistent with the reported configuration, the more recent deployment request has been discarded.

I have restarted Config mgr, broker and both Q-managers, and toolkit, tried reconnecting it. Still it gives the same error. It doesn't give any error in Event Viewer. I also tried deleting Execution group and recreating it.

All inputs are highly appriciated. Thanks in adv.

i have this problem in v5.0

a quick and short term solution would be to Cancel Deploy and deploy again.

in v5.0 i can right click on the config mgr and click on Cancel deploy

any real solutions would be nice..... i posted this a while ago and tried a lot of stuff but didnt work and this happens on a broker that I already deleted in my case!!

found this in help

Quote:
Canceling a deployment that is in progress
Before you start:

Canceling a deployment should only be a last resort if you are sure that a broker, or several brokers in a domain, will never be able to process a previous deployment request. For this reason, make sure that you understand the implications of this action, described in the Cancel deployment overview topic.

It is possible to cancel all outstanding deployments in the domain, or just those to a particular broker.
When canceling deployment across the domain, you must have full access on the Configuration Manager.
When canceling deployment to a specific broker, you must have full access on that broker.
If you want to ensure that previous deployment messages are not processed when an affected broker is restarted, first remove any deployment messages:
Stop the broker
Check the broker's SYSTEM.BROKER.ADMIN.QUEUE and SYSTEM.BROKER.EXECUTIONGROUP.QUEUE, and manually remove any deployment messages.
Proceed to cancel the deployment.

From the "Broker Admin" Perspective, in the "Domains Veiw" (lower left corner), right click on either the domain (ie Configmgr on....) or the broker and select "Cancel Deployment"
