Hello ,
I need to use an MQ client on AIX Unix machine to get messages from the MQ series server on As/400(OS/400) .
Please can anybody confirm that it is possible to use an MQ client on AIX
to connect to an MQ server on AS/400.
Thanks |

Yes.
Just be aware that iSeries is an EBCDIC platform, and the client is running on an ASCII platform, so you might need to worry about convertings messages (MQGMO_CONVERT, Format, CCSID and Encoding) _________________ -wayne |
