Hi,

Is there a way that we can use IF- else expressions in the decision choice in BWI WORKBENCH 3.5 version

like

If (Paramaeter1=3)
parameter4='H'
else if(parameter1=4)
parameter4='Y'
end

The If else structures we see in C language or similar programming language..

Thanks,
R

I may be misunderstanding your question. What you appear to be asking is can I use a decision to change the value of a container member?

The quick answer is NO. Decisions are used for routing control and that's it. HOWEVER, there is no reason that you can route control to a NOOP activitity that would set the variable the way you indicate. So, the bottom line is YES you can accomplish what I THINK you want to do, just with a little more effort.

As Jmac said, you can use a decision node or choice. Use some exit conditions, hope that works
