Hi all,
I know this is a strange question since IBM has posted the WMQ supported version on different platform level at: http://www-306.ibm.com/software/integration/wmq/requirements/index.html but I was wondering have anyone deployed WMQ5.3 on RHEL4.0?
Is this deployment workable? What are the considerations/implication for such deployment? Is there any trade offs?
Thanks

and you need to export LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.4.19 for anything in MQ to work. _________________ -wayne |

Unless, that is, you happen to be running FC4. |
I thought we were talking about RHEL4 above - it's a supported environment according to http://www.ibm.com/software/integration/wmq/requirements/index.html but FC4 is not - at least as that list stands right now. I had trouble getting it to work (forgotten the details, sorry - it could have been I was doing something wrong), but YMMV. |
