Is timeout error message a problem of MQ or it is JMS?

It's going to be one or the other. Unless it's something else.

Perhaps if you supplied the text of the message, error numbers, the circumstances of the error condition or indeed anything which could be of some help it would reduce the requirement to guess.

Could it be the phase of the moon, or maybe the interplanetary alignment that is causing it.

What diagnosis have you done so far (apart from ask here that is)? What are the symptoms/error messages? or is this a hyperthetical question?
