Hi,
on z/OS: //DD:SYSPRINT
win: c:\BlockIP2.log
unix/sun/linux: /var/mqm/exits/BlockIP2.log

You can control the logfile using the configuration file.

we are using BlockIP2 v2.39

how can i stop logging at all. i've noticed that every succesful oder failed connection is written into the log. i don't use any flags (-d, -q).

failed connections atempts are also written into the errors directory of websphere mq. that's actually enough.

circular logging or something similiar as described in the chapter 'Using LogFormat', Manual is not applicable for z/OS. Is't true?

thanxs

You should try the -q; option for "quiet". I hope it will solve your needs.
