I have an issue with the MQ connector controller, its not picking up the messages from the AP queue and delivering it to the collaboration for processing. I see that all the buffers are empty on the source, destination connectors and also the collaborations. The messages are just staying in the AP queues and the source connector agent is in paused state in CSM. Has anyone come accross this issue before? Is it a bug in 4.3.0.2? Windows2000. ICS 4.3.0.2, Oracle, MQ 5.3 CSD10 _________________ Val |

I suppose you meant to say Controller. The one situation where I saw Connector going into paused state was,When It could not get the MQ Series connection. What happens when you try to start Controller from CSM?
You current configuration is Supported. |

brandon,
1. By connector agent's state being paused in CSM, I meant the status in System view (which shows agent status on the right side of collabs' statistics).
2. I stopped and started the conn controller (conn agent was online at that time) but it lead to more events being dumped onto the AP queue. MQ error logs did not show any problems at that time.
I saw this problem occur a second time since then, and this time I restarted the conn agent, which caused the flows to be processed normally without a problem.
Thanks, _________________ Val |

If the connector controller is running and once you start the connector agent it picks up some messages which means that the agent is running, can you check the logs to see what makes it go into paused state..
Can you also check ICS logs to see if there are some errors logged.
That might help to understand better. _________________ Regards,

The ICS/Connector logs do not show errors (except pause/active messages) since the logging/tracing level is set to 0. _________________ Val |

Can you increase the logging and tracing and capture any error messages? _________________ Regards,

If your system is working when you restart the agent then I think there is some thing wrong on the agent side.
Controller checks for Agent status every 15 seconds and if it cannot determine the status, it stops processing all the pending requests.
Turn on the logging and tracing on your agent and check for any exceptions. _________________ -Ratan |

Thank you all for your valuable suggestions.
At this point I am stuck with increasing the trace level and waiting for this situation to happen again. _________________ Val |
