| DB2 ControlCenter not starting |

Hi
I have problem starting my control center.It was working good earlier.
But suddenly today,When I tried to start,It tries to open,flashes and goes off.
I tried rebooting and starting couple of times but no luck.
I also made sure,my java is working fine,
java -fullversion
java full version "J2RE 1.4.2 IBM Windows 32 build cn1420-20040626"
The version I am running on is DB2 UDB ESE 8.2
OS:Windows XP
Any help on this is greatly appreciated.
I know this is not a DB forum,but I know many people here has a fair knowledge of DataBases.

| I was earlier having SUN JRE ahead of IBM JRE in my path&classpath.I swapped those and tried to re-start the control center,It did not work.I re-booted my computer,Miraculously ControlCenter came up.I dont know how it mattered,But glad that it worked. |

If you merely adjusted the environment entries (classpath & path) then it is not guaranteed to be in effect for new shells and new processes until after a reboot. Particularly, it might not have been in effect for your desktop environment, and so when you reopened the CC, the old values could still have been active.
