Hi All,
I have to compile the channel exit BlockIP2.c file on Sun Solaris v5.9. I have been looking for the guidelines to compile it on Solaris but could not find anywhere.
I have mq 5.3.12.

I had the file in /tmp area and tried to compile it as follows:


Quote:
./gcc BlockIP2.c -o test
Undefined first referenced
symbol in file
main ./../lib/gcc-lib/sparc-sun-solaris2.9/3.3.2/crt1.o
ld: fatal: Symbol referencing errors. No output written to /tmp/test
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status



I know that there is some thing missing in my approach. Pls let me know how to get this compiled.

Read the MQ manuals about how to compile and link. You are missing the correct link libraries...

Missing the C runtime libs or the correct path
