Hi,
Just wanted to know, If I need to trigger an application using UPES feature on the same(Same as Workflow) Queue Manager instead of running it as automatic activity using PEA on Workflow Server, Do I need to get seperate license for MQSeries or can I still make use of the MQSeries license which is given free with MQWF?
Regards

As far as I know this is not a problem, but perhaps you should post this one to the IBM MQWF newsgroup to get a more definitive answer. _________________ John McDonald

Hi,
As far I know, MQSeries/DB2 provided along with MQWF is for its internal use and if there are any queues/database-tables defined which is required for the application then we need to buy seperate license. So, I just wanted to confirm.
Thanks any way.
Regards

Understood from IBM that even the license for the Queue Manager for the application were the UPES is running is for free, i.e. part of the workflow license. _________________ IBM Certified Solutions Expert - MQSeries Workflow
