Search on Passport Advantage for "Message Broker".
You need to install both the runtime and the toolkit.

Hi guys,

I am installing MQ v6.0 and MB v6.0 for the first time...

I must say that MQ dosen't seem to be that easy to use....i cannot see the queues created unless i do a right click-->status...is the the only wayor cani make it appear like the v5.3

Also, MB runtime and toolkit are seperate...God its utter confusion...But if you want to avoid all the hassle there is a Express Install...its a one click job...though you wont learn much of installation...

Regards.

Hi rvikky,

I doubt that,

I think it is runtime for creating the broker and configMgr etc...

The toolkit is ONLY for development.

Can someone confirm/correct.

Regards.

And to confuse it all the Toolkit has 2 components to it:

a) runtime to be installed on the "Server" (Windows)
b) Plugins to be installed on the development pc's

Enjoy

I want to install WMQ v6.
I want one server and 15 clients connected to that server.
Development will take place even from the server also ie server will also be used as client.
What should i install in server and client?
How to connect these clients to the server?
I've asked for the package which I'll be getting shortly.
Thanks in advance.

rvikky,
Have you not yet gone through the installation guideline manual?
